(RE)Thinking Popular Music Studies in Public Universities in Ghana

This study aims to determine: (1) students' mathematical problem solving abilities in terms of gender differences class VIII-A SMP N 1 Kuta Buluh; (2) significant Buluh. research uses quantitative and qualitative approaches (mixed methods). was conducted at Buluh for the academic year 2021/2022. The subjects consisted 12 students, 6 male students female students. results this indicate: ability shows that are superior, better than It can also be seen from average percentage stage understanding is 41.67%, preparing a plan 15.42%, implementing 25.83%, re-examining 17.92%. While problem-solving 64.29%, compiling 27.68%, 25.89%, solving, namely 20.54%; (2). There difference highest developing plan, while it not very visible. each abilities, with 22.62%, drawing up 12.26%, 0.06 %, 2.62%. Overall Judging tests interviews, have been able understand well. suggested need improve must trained accustomed school socialization related abilities.
